Adams County CEO is preparing the next generation of strong effective leaders and being proactive in building our future economic growth through our transformational entrepreneurship program. Our community seeks an innovative educator to facilitate the class - someone who believes education extends beyond the classroom. The CEO Facilitator will create a learning environment where students are encouraged to explore, discover, and experience learning through real-life activities. The facilitator's role is to model a passion for learning, connect with the students and community, collaborate with the CEO Board, and most importantly guide the students on their personal CEO journey.

 

CEO offers real-life experiences through regular contact with local entrepreneurs and business people.

 

Students in the program come from Adams County high schools and meet from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM

Monday - Friday during the school year. This is a part-time position requiring a teacher certificate or the ability to obtain CTE licensure to apply. A master's degree is preferred, but not required.

Roger Leenerts

Roger Leenerts

Roger grew up in Adams County and left to pursue a career in engineering and management. He worked for two large corporations in northern Illinois and Minnesota, before moving back “home” in 1997. He owned a successful, small manufacturing company for 16 years before selling it in 2017. Since that time, he has provided consulting services, contract training programs, and enjoys teaching in the business department at Quincy University. He has been the Adams County CEO facilitator since 2020.

 

Roger has an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management and a mechanical engineering degree from Bradley University. He has been married to his wife Julie for 35 years and is actively involved in several community organizations.
